V.I.B.E events in Victoria, Nanaimo on 22, 23 Feburary 2026

Vancouver Island Budtender Events (V.I.B.E) is putting on two events this month. The first is in Victoria on Sunday, 22 Feburary 2026. The second is in Nanaimo the following day, Monday, 23 Feburary 2026. Tickets are available online and are $10 each for budtenders and retailers, or $20 each for brand reps and LPs. Retailers and budtenders are eligible for samples, so be sure to register your Selling It Right license number and bring your wallet card with you.

The V.I.B.E series is a on a bimonthly schedule, with events every other month. This gives continuity to the events, which is helpful in a constrained area like Vancouver Island. Getting off the island and back to it can be frustrating at the best of times, and local events smooth out those rough edges and give everyone a better experience.

The Victoria event on Sunday is being held at CUBspot on Yates Street. It starts at 4pm and runs until 7pm. Pre-registration is required, and there will be no late registrations at the door.

The Nanaimo event is on Monday and is being held at the Chapel Street Hall. It runs between 5pm and 8pm. As with the Victoria event, pre-registration is mandatory, so be sure to go and register now.

Be sure to follow @vibeseriesofficial on Instagram to stay up-to-date with the event series and find out about April’s upcoming events!

  • Hello, world

    Hello, world

Welcome to Potwatcher! This site is a collaboration of a couple of folks in BC’s cannabis industry. We have a passion for the plant, and a lot of knowledge to share. We also have a lot of learning to do, along with everyone else! Things keep moving forward in the cannabis world at a pace we’ve never experienced, and new information is coming out all the time.

New products hit the listings regularly at central, and direct delivery is exploding in the wake of the strike that brought down the BCCS central distribution point. There are more products including minor cannabinoids than ever, and formulations for edibles and oils keep improving.

All of this gives us a lot to talk about and a lot to ask about. Blogs are great for talking about things because one’s not constrained to the format of whatever social media platform one’s posting on. A blog entry can be a quick note or an entire essay. You will find both here. There seems to be a critical mass of cannabis industry people on Instagram, so discussion can happen there. For each entry here, I will make a post that points to the story. Comments should go on that post, and provide a place for discussion, if desired.

In addition to the blog, Potwatcher will also include some informational resources. These will of course be built over time.

Welcome to Potwatcher, and we’re happy you’re here.
